“The People Side of Conservation”
GAP

Green Apple Project is an innovative program developed by the Energy Instruction Group to help schools save energy and the environment by changing behavior.

Culture Change

We strive for culture change — a real shift in the way students and staff think about conservation and the roles they play in saving energy and the environment.

Identify Savings Opportunities

At EIG, we believe the most effective way to help cut energy use is to target areas that are specific to your buildings. Our personnel perform detailed site surveys in order to provide you with the best ways to reduce energy cost.

Green Team Development

Establishing a team that guides the goals and directions of our Energy/Environmental Savings Opportunities (EESO) is essential to seeing successful behavior change. Students, teachers, custodians work together, focused on making an impact for people and schools.

Fun Project Based Learning

We have certified teachers on staff to provide fun, practical and effective activities that help teachers easily incorporate learning material seamlessly into their existing curriculum.

Easy to See Results

In order to communicate the results of these programs, we provide internal marketing materials and online tools. Our monthly newsletter is just one example of how we present quantifiable feedback to students and staff.
