Energy Project Identification and Planning
As part of the Smart Energy Program, EIG will first analyze your building and identify areas where energy conservation is possible.
Next, EIG will identify appropriate projects and create a plan to accomplish them. Projects are scored in a matrix that evaluates the payback period, resources and skills necessary to implement the project.
Each energy savings opportunity will have an associated training program and supporting documents to help you implement the project.

The energy project list can be modified and adjusted over time as funding and other resources become available. Note that many of the projects require few or no dollars to implement.
For projects that require capital, EIG helps our clients seek grant dollars or financing. We’ve helped school finance their projects using the Ohio School Facility Commission Energy Conservation program and use the energy savings to pay off the debt.
